lighting techniques



lighting is extremely important in film production, lighting often conveys mood. For example, one of the film genres most known for its distinct lighting style is film noir, characterized by stark contrasts between light and dark, dramatically patterned shadows, and unique framing and composition choices. Since my chosen genre is based on a drama I will use lowkey lighting to demonstrate the reality of events, and give the audience more focus on what's in front of them, rather than the surroundings

The origin of crime/ gangster films crime and gangster films  have taken part of the select few to have been considered as the "greatest pieces of all time", from movies like good-fellas, to The God father, these mafia like movies have shown to be some of the most influential pieces in film history.  They  are often typically  created around the malicious, and strategic actions of significant criminals or gangsters, particularly Crime families, or Organizations who operate in control of the law, or completely underneath it, exhibit the Circulation of drugs,  product, and use whatever necessary force to protect their business .
