project reflection

Constructing the Film opening along with the portfolio blogs was a long, but rewarding process, I had multiple ideas and scenarios implemented in my projects but some were cut short due to the situation which befell upon society, I struggled greatly in finding new ideas but sometimes a struggle is all it takes, I learned that throughout the entirety of my film opening I went to places in which I haven't met, or been to in quite some time, and allowed me to reconnect to friends throughout the engaging filming process. The project was more of a summary of what we learned in class and how we can implement the media techniques into constructing our own sources of media, which would sympathize to an audience or an ideological agenda,  using film techniques to visually demonstrate personal aspects of perhaps your life, and ideas.

New genre post (final)

Image
This is my third genre post, I have been forced to change the genre for my film opening twice already, because of outside interventions, however with this new change I was able to deliver  a film opening with the resources I was provided, The new film opening is revolved around a comedy/drama film based on a college freshman, attending a reunion with heavy negative influence, and making questionable choices. A comedic drama is a g enre  of dramatic works (including film, television , and t heatre ) in which plot elements are a combination of comedy  and drama.  It is a subgenre of  both the  Comedy and drama genres, and is especially found in television programs and is considered a "h ybrid genre." There are many films in the Comedic drama subgenre, that have successfully won academy awards, and audience recognition because of their content such as Emma, The greensbook, Jojo Rabbit, and Once upon a time in hollywood

script

For my actors, I provided a script for them to better follow up on their lines, and roles in this film, the script provides detail, on different areas of the script are the subheadings that differentiate from dialogue to action, to the introduction of a new character, these subheadings also deter from any sort of confusion since I really dumbed it down for them, however knowing my actors i might have to take a further step as to color code their parts.

Filming process

Image
I have already commenced the filming process, and editing for the new film opening, I decided to start as early as possible;e to maximize my time for the editing, to shred unnecessary  details, the setting for my scenes were taken at night, for the stereotype that most crime will be done in dark, moreover I've spoken to my neighbors about the film, to not raise any alarms and attract unwanting attention .
